A week of fun...

Last Friday my parents and Kyle came out to Chicago to visit us and to see the city. We had such a great time! Blake and Baylee loved seeing and spending time with GaMa, PaPa and "Unkwle Kwyle"
We did pretty much everything there is to do in Chicago. We went to Sears Tower, took the Architectural Boat Tour, went to a Cubs game, Shedd Aquarium, Smith Field Museum, Science and Industry Museum, Navy Pier, ate dinner at the Signature Room the 95th Floor of the Hancock Building and Shopped Michigan Ave!!!
So much fun... I already miss them!

My Recent Project

I decided to buy a sewing machine about 4 months ago because I have been wanting to learn to sew .... Finally I am using it. I have been so intimidated by it, I don't know why, but I was. I bought a pattern and some fabric at the Fabric Mill before I left and figured I would have some time on my hands to learn in Chicago and this is what I made a skirt for my baby girl!
It's a little big, but she'll grow into it!
It was so much fun... and surprisingly relaxing?!

this little girl is TROUBLE....

she seriously is into EVERYTHING I can't get anything done with her around and she has to touch and pull and grab everything in sight.... and her little fits she likes to have are out of control!
I LOVE her so much, but i really don't know what to do with this sweet/wild little girl!

Brookfield Zoo

We had such a great time at the Brookfield Zoo! I love going to the Zoo at around 4p.m. because we are getting there when everyone else is leaving, there are no crowds and they are usually feeding the animals so they are very active and not sleeping! Blake loves lions and tigers lately so he gets so excited about them. This zoo is super nice and has such cool exhibits! We bought a annual pass so I can't wait to go again!

Navy Pier

Today was a beautiful day so Dave and I decided to take a drive to Navy Pier in downtown Chicago. It was such a great way to spend Mother's Day. I love being a mom and am grateful for my mom and all the moms in my life! Happy Mother's Day to you

We made it...

to CHICAGO!
We are so excited to be here and be with Dave. We missed him so much! When Blake saw Dave he reached his arms out and grabbed him and squeezed him as hard as he could, it was one of those moments you don't ever want to forget... so sweet!
The flight was great, we are getting settled and really I have nothing to complain about. We had dinner at Cheeseburger in Paradise with the Warners and it tasted so good!
Blake was SO excited to see Chase and "Tatas" aka Tessa.
I am excited to be here and start this little adventure!
I think this Summer is going to be GREAT!

Baylee's Stats

We went to the doctor the other day and Baylee had her shots. It was so sad, but she was so funny. Aafter her shots when the nurse, who gave her the shots, would walk in the room Baylee would stare her down and grunt at her! I seriously was laughing so hard! She was so mad at the nurse.
