Trying new things...

Yesterday I put Blake in his new swing and he LOVED it! Thanks Grandma Lyons!
Grandma Brotherson is here this week helping out. She has been great!
Blake has some of the cutest expressions I wish I had an instant camera so I could capture them all! He already has so much personality. Grandpa and Grandma Brotherson drove all night to come see me at the hospital. They had to go back the next day so grandpa could go to work. Posted by Picasa

Blake in his "tanning bed"

We got back on Saturday from the hospital and we got a phone call from the doctor saying Blake needed to be under solar lights to help him get better. The hard part was he had to be under the lights for 2 1/2 out of every 3 hours! It was horrible because we couldn't hold him only to eat! He was really good and now he is ALL better and doing great! We love him so much! Posted by Picasa

FAMILY IN TOWN!

Aunt Kelly was so excited for Blakes arrival!
Aunt Ashley gave up "big plans" to come visit her new nephew.
Grandma Lyons and Aunt Ashley fought over who was going to hold him.
Papa Lyons LOVES his little grandson. Blake was real sad when he had to leave so he peed on grandpa thinking he wouldn't go! Posted by Picasa

Our Journey home!

His clothes I got him were HUGE! So I had to change outfits! He is so dang cute! I have never been more excited then I was when we walked out of the NICU doors! And into our home! Posted by Picasa

One tough week...

As some of you know we have had a rough week... Little Blake was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck FOUR times! It was VERY scary! We thought everything was going to be OK until after about 6 hours he had to be admitted into the NICU (Newborn Intensive Care Unit) It was horrible. So if I haven't returned phone calls it is because I have been really busy... I am sure you all can imagine. We were able to come home today which we are all very excited about. It has been a long four days. Eventhough we are home Blake still has to stay in a solar blanket 24/7 until his liver fully forms. Hopefully for only a couple pf days. Thank you for all of your support and I appreciate your phone calls! In a few days things should calm down and hopefully Blake will get better! He is such a blessing in our lives and I never knew I could love someone like I do him! Posted by Picasa

My friend Kim.....

My friend Kim is in town for the weekend with her family so she came to Orem and we had lunch she gave me this cute "First Halloween" outfit and bib. It is soooo cute! It was fun seeing her and Justin, her brother. I LOVE having visitors! Yesterday I woke up and I wasn't really sure about what I was going to do so I started thinking and I was thinking about my little boy, like ALWAYS, and how it is going to be so crazy having a little baby at my side 24/7 and don't get me wrong I can't wait to have my little buddy with me, but I thought man I better start pampering myself when i can.... So I decided I needed a pedicure and wow nothing has EVER felt better. I don't know what it is about being pregnant and having a pedicure, but it sure is GREAT! I then went to see that movie "Step Up" with my friend Tori. It was lame don't see it! Then I tried getting a massage but they didn't have any openings so I made the appointment for today.... and it was sooo relaxing! I can not express enough how unbelievable it feels. If I could... I would spend the rest of my pregnancy in a day spa. That would be a dream come true! Anyway.... time is ticking and the days are slowly going by. I have about 14 days until I can be induced and 21 days until my due date! The countdown has begun! Posted by Picasa

Lunch Group at My House

Auntie Ann was reading to Estee. Estee was the only kid today so she got ALL the attention. Estee LOVED this stuffed dog she couldn't get enough of it. Here she was pointing to its nose.
I thought her smile in this picture couldn't be cuter! Is there a happier little girl?
It was fun to have Ann at lunch group today because she can't always make it. We had a little barbeque with chicken, corn on the cob, pasta salad and root beer floats! Later Amy D brought Olivia over with a sprinkler and Estee and Olivia played in the water. They were slipping and sliding all over. Meanwhile Amy took some pictures of me with my belly. I can't wait to see them! Thanks Amy! Posted by Picasa

Angie & Mckenzie

I have watched her grow..... from about 7 months
It is amazing how much love there is between a mother and child!
to now she is turning two next month! So sweet and innocent.
Angie and Mckenzie...... Have been on my mind a lot lately! On sunday night little Kenzie was ran over by a car and is in critical condition. I don't know what I would do if anything happend to her. These two have had a huge impact on me the past year and a half. Angie is such a good friend and mother. Mckenzie is a happy outgoing little girl who loves to smile and give kisses. She is doing better each day and is improving on her health. Angie is such a strong person and I admire you for how you are handeling everything! I wish I could be there, but I want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you! Posted by Picasa

I hate Ivory Homes!

Well as you can see we had a flood in our basement! See where the water is coming out? Well that is supposed to be sealed, but of course Ivory Homes does a horrible job and doesn't EVER finish anything and it leaked!

Anyway our basement had about a half inch of water throughout the entire basement. Luckily it isn't finished and most of our storage is in plastic containers. Although we did have my great grandmothers hope chest and some pictures for the wall and a mattress which all got wet! What a nightmare I hate crap like this. We have had more problems with this builder then I could have ever imagined. So we have had guys coming and sucking out the water and we now have dryers blowing that are SOOOO LOUD! Just what I want to be dealing with! Posted by Picasa
