Babysitting.............

So today I thought it would be a good idea to get some practice........ Maybe get a taste of what motherhood is really like. Mckell has three more days of school and so I am babysitting all day today. I was really excited, but also a little nervous. So far he has been GREAT and so fun and giggly. He is 6 months old and loves to roll over. Anyway..... This morning I just held him and he was so sweet..... It really made me anxious to hold my own little boy in my arms. I seriously can not wait for him to get here. I think about him more then anything and with him kicking ALL the time I think of him more...... even when I am sleeping. I am so grateful for all the babies in my life they all have a special place in my heart! 

Memorial Day Weekend!

My family came in town and it was so much fun! The guys went golfing and spent a lot of time watching basketball............
While the girls went shopping and my mom knitting.... We also spent all day sat at Babies R Us registering. It took forever, but man it really made things seem real. I can't wait to have my sweet little boy!
Kelly was so excited to see all of her crazy roomates! It was fun. It is amazing to see how we have all grown up!

So I thought it would be fun to post some pictures of friends. I am so lucky to have had so many great friends in my life who have taught me so much. It stinks because all of my old pictures aren't digital. So I only have pictures that go back a few years. It is always so fun to look at pictures from the past. I seriously could spend hours! Season Pass

Well I did it! I decided to get a pass to seven peaks water park. I was a little nervous about being in a swimsuit and being pregnant....... We'll see how it goes I can't wait to layout all summer long. 

Flashback of 2006.... So Far!

We went to Universal Studios with Danny& Kate and Scott & Mickell it was really fun to do the California thing.
I watched my cute nephews for a week. They were so much fun!
We celebrated our one year anniversary at the Grand America. We went to Benihanna for dinner and the next day we had massages and went to brunch. It was GREAT!
This is Daves favorite picture of us. Dave grew up spending his summers working on his dads farm in Altimont, Utah so he was excited to share a little bit of it with me. I was a little freaked out because I was pregnant and didn't know what could happen..... So far this year has been a blast I only have more to look forward to. I often wonder why I am so blessed with such a great husband, family and friends! 

A Flash Back of 2005

Moving to Chicago with my sweet husband!
On our way back from Chicago we stopped in Denver to see my family and a Broncos game....
In September we went to Cancun and had so much fun! We barely missed the hurricane...
In December we went on a cruise to the Carribean. It was great weather. The year couldn't have been better! I got married to an amazing guy, moved to a new city traveled all over and got pregnant! Could life get any better??? 

ANTS!!!

ok so i kind of had a rude awakening this morning. Dave left for california this morning and so i was up pretty early and I decided to do some laundry as I was walking into the laundry room I saw a little black thing moving on the ground..... it was an ANT! Not just one, but like ten! I decided to look around and find where they were coming from. I am clueless I have no idea how they are getting in. So I got some RAID and sprayed away. I now have a major headache not only from the spray, but also from the price bids I got to get pest control, what a joke. If anyone knows of a good, but cheap pest control let me know!

Lunch group today was great! It was so good Amy made an italian meal. I was excited to take pictures and my camera was having some difficulties so I only got a few clear shots. The kids were so cute playing together! Ann made her first appearence, it was great to have her! It was such a beautiful day out today.

A Growing Belly!

Well I thought I would post these pictures so that family and friends out of state can see how my little boy, and belly are growing! The first picture is when I was 3 months the second is 4 and a half months and the third is 6 months! Every morning I wake up to him kicking. It makes getting up a little easier. 

Our baby boy at 5 months!

These pictures are not great quality, but I don't know how to scan yet so as you can see we are clearly having a boy! The doctor had a hard time getting a profile shot because he had his face snuggled into my placenta. And how cute is his little foot! I love it! It is amazing how much i love this little boy already. These ultra sound pictures were taken 4 weeks ago when I was 20 weeks or 5 months along.

Our First House!

So I thought I would blog a few pics of our house. The rooms aren't all finished yet, but as they get finished I will post more pictures. It has been a lot of work and nothing seems to ever go right, but I just have to keep thinking at least we are in! All day today I have been waitng for deliveries and so far four out of the six that I am expecting have had problems. It is crazy how building a house really helps you learn PATIENCE!!!
