It is so funny how he loves to be all sprawled out.... I absolutely love this little boy! I can't believe he is already 5 weeks old!

Blake LOVES the bath he is so content when he is in the water. I love it because he just looks around and looks at himself in the mirror. He is so fun! I don't know how much longer he will fit in the sink, he is growing so fast!
I absolutely love this picture..... It is amazing what you can read in a babies eyes. I wish I could put a pause on life and just have him be a newborn for as long as I wanted and then press fast forward when I was ready. Everyday I feel so blessed to have him in my life I can truely say he has changed my life for the better and has helped me become a better person. I am so grateful for the love and joy he brings into my life!
Yesterday was so beautiful out the weather was perfect not to hot not to cold so Blake and I went on a walk with Mckell and Chase Warner. We just walked around the neighborhood it was so nice to get out of the house and be in the fresh air. By the way Blake loved it he slept the whole time! The little beenie on his head was way to small and Dave insisted that it would fit! I'll let you guys decide....
I just thought these pictures were so cute I can not believe this outfit fits him already he is growing so fast! By the way he almost slept through the night last night and I feel like a new women this morning!
I love his eyes it is crazy that they are blue! I never thought I would have a blue eyed baby...
My little boy is so cuddley. I often have a hard time putting him down! So does Grandma!
Blake had his check up this week and he weighed 7lbs 6 oz. so he has gained a little less then a pound and he measured 21 1/2 inches! So he has grown 2 1/2 inches he was so good at the doctor! He didn't really like getting undressed to get weighed, but do you blame him.
I love all of his faces he is always making me smile!
So a lot happend this week Grandma Lyons came into town and it was a good thing because Blake had a rough week with his little "boy surgery" it was horrible. I was so glad Grandma was in town to help comfort him! She was GREAT! She helped me get a lot of sleep she cooked, cleaned and did laundry. And I was able to go get a ton of things done for myself. We were ALL sad she had to go! Thanks Grandma come again soon!
On Tuesday Blakes three week birthday his umbilical cord came off!!! It was so nice to see his cute little belly button! There is nothing cuter then a sweet baby in just a diaper! And look how smart he is already holdong his binky!
Blake learned how to fold his hands! It is so funny to watch him with his hands he is always doing funny things with them.
Also today Grandpa Brotherson came by for a few minutes on his way through town. Blake is so lucky to have such great grandparents who love him so much!
So Blake hasn't had a ton of experiences in his car seat, but the few that he has had haven't been very pleasant. I am pretty sure he HATES it! I mean I can't blame him, look at it. I try to snuggle him up and it works for a minute, but then he realizes and starts to cry. It is so hard because I just want to pick him up out of it and you can't. Anyway hopefully the bigger he gets the more comfortable it will be.....
I can not believe that yesterday was my due date. It seriously is crazy to think about. I am so glad Blake is here and is safe and healthy! I love my cute family we are small but great. I love my boys and am so grateful for them. Dave has been really sick and has been trying to stay away from us so he doesn't get either one of us sick. I would die if we did I can't imagine what a nightmare that would be. I sent Dave to buy a bunch of Lysol and antibaterial wipes and things so hopefully it all works!

I thought this picture was funny because Blake was born in 2006, Savanna was born in 2005 and Mckenzie was born in 2004! They are all almost exactly a year a part.
This week a few of Blakes cousins stopped by to visit! On the Brotherson side Blake has 20 cousins and on the Lyons side he has 4! It is crazy how many cousins Blake will grow up with. He is very lucky to have so many people who love him!
If Dave is home Blake is in his arms! ALWAYS!
We are always starring at him it is crazy how much fun it is just to watch his every move.
This weekend was so much fun just hanging out with my two favorite boys... Friday was Daves birthday and considering the fact that we just had Blake a little over a week ago we didn't have any BIG plans. So we just hung out and opened presents and played with Blake, but on Saturday it was so nice we went and got a bunch of things done and then went up to the tree room at Sundance, Blake was so good! He slept the entire time. It was so great to have a quiet dinner and just talk to my husband it was so relaxing. After dinner we walked around and pushed Blake in the stroller. I am so grateful to have such an amazing husband and son!
