Turkey Trot 2010

Most of the Lyons Family decided to run the Mile High Turkey Trot and it was seriously so much fun! A tradition we will continue for sure. The night before we all went to Sports Authority and loaded up with cold weather running gear and it ended up being beautiful outside, cold, but sunny! It felt so good to get up and run especially knowing that we would be pigging out all day!

Beginning of November

We got BYU Basketball tickets this year and it has been so fun taking the kids they love it! And I love that it's inside and warm ; )

KK and Dax came to visit!

We love Golden Spoon and go at least once a week so when Savanna came and spent the night the kids wanted to take her! They had so much fun!

Blake and Baylee started their Christmas lists!

3 Peas in a Pod : )

We LOVE Charlotte! The Lewis Family came to visit the first weekend in November and we seriously had so much fun having them here! Blake and Baylee have a special bond with this little girl. Blake treats her like he's her older brother always putting his arm around her and making sure she is ok and Baylee acts like shes her sister and calls her on her Minnie Mouse phone everyday... I love it! Kelly and I took the kids up the canyon and took some photos I love how they turned out!

No More Training Wheels!

So I just have to mention this since I have no photos only video to document the big day. Blake started riding his big bike with no training wheels a month after his 4th birthday! The chain had broke off his bike and so Grandpa Kirk came to town to fix it. When he fixed it he had to take the training wheels off so I said, 'Hey Blake do you want to try riding without the training wheels?' He said, "Ya!" So Litterally after 5 seconds of holding his seat he was off and riding like crazy! It was the easiest thing he caught on so quickly making my job very easy!!! I was so proud and so was he! He couldn't wait to show his friends and grandparents. He loves his bike and is on it every second he gets.

Halloween Festivities

We had a great Halloween this year! Blake and Baylee had their School program and the morning of we had a little problem, Blake was supposed to be a race car driver and he had been wearing it so much that the morning of the program the zipper busted! Luckily I had bought him this Fireman costume for Christmas and so he had that to wear and loved it ; ) Then we had Pinnacles annual Halloween Trick or Treat it was decorated SO cute and the kids got a ton of candy... Baylee was more concerned with eating the candy she got whereas Blake was on a mission to get as much as possible! They were so fun this year! Halloween night we met up with some neighbors and went to a few houses. I made Chili and Cornbread. It was perfect for the rainy night!

Kenny's Baptism...

October 15th-17th 2010

...was the weekend before my birthday. So Dave and I flew to LA for 3 days and met my family there to celebrate Kenny getting Baptized. Saturday morning we went to Brent's Deli. We met up with Dylan and Cassaundra and their cute family and also Ron and Pat Peskin who have been family friends since I can remember and we had a delicious breakfast! My family surprised me with a 30th Birthday book which was awesome! It was full of pictures and memories from all my closest friends and family. It is truly something I will treasure forever! That night we went to watch Kenny's last race. He did awesome! Sunday was the big day we went to my Uncle Kens for a BBQ which again my family surprised me with a beautiful cake that was delicious and then off to the church. What a spiritual day. The baptism was awesome and the spirit was so strong. I am so proud of my cousin for making this decision. It was such a great weekend I loved every minute of it!

My 30th with the Kids

When we got home we celebrated with Pizza and cupcakes! Blake and Baylee were so excited for me to open my presents! Blake picked me out some new rain boots and Baylee got me a cute watch! I love my kids I couldn't be happier they bring so much joy into my life and are always putting a smile on my face!

My 30th Birthday!

Couldn't have been better it was PERFECT! Dave surprised me and took me to Palm Desert for 5 days we ate at amazing restauraunts, slept in, read, watched movies, shopped, laid by the pool and on my actual Birthday we spent the entire day at the spa. I had a facial, pedicure, manicure and massage! It was by far my most relaxing trip EVER! I didn't want to come home! I loved being with just my hubby and spending every minute with him! He truly is my best friend and I can't imagine my life without him. Thanks babe for the best birthday ever!

Disneyland Oct 2010

We were then off to Disneyland! I love going during the Fall it is decorated to cute! I seriously have just as much fun as my kids do. I love going to Disneyland! How funny is Blakes face on Space Mountain?! He was so funny this time because he loved it. Last time in the Spring he hated it and now it's his favorite, he says!

Cousins + Malibu Beach= So Much FUN!

On our second day we went and met up with Matt, Shannon, Greyson and Breckyn and headed out for an amazing day at the beach...the kids had so much fun playing and we loved chatting the day away. We ate at the best restauraunt and then headed over to the shopping center and had a cupcake and played on the playground. We also saw Adam Sandler ; ) We love spending time with the Westmore clan!

Uncle Kenny's Race Car

While we were down in California back in October we went and watched my cousin Kenny race his truck Blake was in Heaven!!! He STILL talks about it 3 months later! It was so much fun. I grew up going to the races and watching my uncle race so is was so fun taking my kids to experience it! Blake then wanted to be a Race car driver for Halloween ; ) Blake loves his Uncle Kenny!
